Sports Centre Refurbishments
The Sports Hall at Cottenham Sports Centre opened in 1982 and has been used extensively by the school and community ever since. The centre is home to over 20 sports clubs covering over
14 different sports many of which have used the sport hall at some point. It is regularly used for Badminton, Football, Roller Skating, Dance, Roller Hockey, Indoor Cricket and Children's parties.

Ballet Pointes
The annual performance is coming ever closer. This year it is Coppelia a pretty ballet and very suitable for children. The date is SATURDAY 12 MAY.

Chairmans Report Spring 2012
2012 promises to be an exciting year for a number of reasons and with the continual news reporting of gloom and despondency it is perhaps time to focus on the good things of life for awhile. Having said that it is also worthy to remind ourselves of the continual suffering that many of our fellow humans suffer on a daily basis most of which is due to factors over which they have no control.

Service of Remembrance
It is with very great sadness that we have to tell you that Nancy Miller passed away on Monday 12 March with her family around her. The chemotherapy had had no impact on the agressive leukaemia. The Service will be at All Saints Church on Monday 26 March at 2.30 following a family ceremony at the Crem.

It is that time of year again, too much darkness and not enough daylight although up until recently we have really enjoyed lots of late sunshine which has played havoc with our plants, birds do not seem to know what season it is with recent reports of blue tits seen feeding young.

Charity Concerts
South Cambridge Rotary Club has for several years raised thousands of pounds for nominated charities by working with the City of Cambridge Symphony Orchestra and the Cambridge Orpheus Singers to stage excellent and fully supported concerts in Cambridge University’s West Road Concert Hall.
