Pleasurable Fundraising for All Saints Church

New events have been arranged in aid of Cottenham’s All Saints Church restoration fund.

On Friday 5th June you can enjoy soul-lifting songs from the Ridley Hall Gospel Choir (Ridley Hall is a one of the colleges of Cambridge University responsible for training Anglican clergy).

On Saturday 27th June, the Fen Edge Orchestra makes a rare appearance and will be performing in the church.

On Saturday 4th July, there’s a very popular quiz night – so form a group and book a table. It is held in the Church Hall. For bookings (and times, ticket prices etc.) contact Edward Kramer on  01954 251441 or by email edward.kramer@sharoe.freeserve.co.uk

Time to Celebrate

Victory Europe was declared on May 8, 1945, the day after Nazi Germany capitulated, and although it would be four more months before Victory Japan, for many World War II was over at last. To mark the 70th anniversary of VE Day, The Entertainers will be presenting some of the memorable music and videos of those war years at the Cottenham Community Centre on Friday 8th May from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £9, including food and tea/coffee, and are available now from Cottenham Community Centre.
