To open this year’s Fen Edge Festival on Thursday 22 June we have a fantastic night of comedy at the Cottenham Community Centre brought to you by those wonderful people at Custard Comedy. The line up is guaranteed to get you laughing!
From early in his career Mike Gunn was supporting the likes of Jo Brand and Alan Davies. He now headlines at all the top comedy venues in the UK and is rapidly reaching cult status on the circuit. He has performed internationally, taking his talent to Hong Kong, Ireland, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand, and Saudi Arabia and to Australia at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, where he completed a five-week sell-out season.
Television appearances include Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC1), Harry Hill’s TV Burp (ITV) and Al Murray’s sit-com ‘Time Gentlemen Please’ (Sky). “Mike Gunn will make you die laughing” The Guardian.
Paddy Lennox is a stand-up comedian and actor. He earns a crust on the UK Comedy Circuit and plays all the great clubs: The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, The Glee Club, The Stand and many other clubs. “A scream…” The Telegraph.
A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.
He has also written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’, ‘The Show What You Wrote’ and ‘Newsjack’, and has done tour support for Arthur Smith, Justin Moorhouse and Stephen K Amos. ‘His best lines are inspired’ – Steve Bennett, Chortle.
MC Rob Coleman is an established semi-pro comic doing opening, middle, headline and MC work for a wide variety of provincial clubs. He is primarily a gag based act but has some observational material in his set and is very comfortable working the crowd. “A naturally funny man.” Bedfordshire News.

Sometimes life gets in the way and we have to change the acts. It doesn’t happen very often but we’re sorry if it does.
