Bluebell Planting – Cottenham

As part of the enhancements to WARG Field, Cottenham Parish Council are looking for volunteers to help plant up to 500 English bluebell bulbs on Saturday 30th September from 10am at WARG Field off Histon Road. You can do as much or as little as you like but many hands make light work! The event is suitable for children to join in too so they can leave a legacy to be enjoyed for years to come (must be accompanied by an adult). Please bring a trowel and wear suitable clothing.

During the morning we will also be holding a brief dedication ceremony to thank the 4 landowners who gifted the field to the residents of Cottenham.

There is no parking at the site so cycling or walking is recommended.
