Fen Edge Family Festival – a plea!

There is an active committee of volunteers working hard to make the FEFF this year even better than that of 2013. It takes place in Cottenham on 19th, 20th and 21st June. But they are in need of some help and this is a plea to all in the community who may be able to fill some gaps:

  • Due to a committee member moving away, we need someone organised and methodical who can take on the role of Health and Safety for the festival. The job has already been started and the role doesn’t require any H&S experience – just a willingness to get on with the job!
  • We also need someone to set up and manage the handwashing facilities for the animal petting on Sunday 21st. Without handwashing facilities on site, we will not be able to run this very popular attraction.
  • AND we are still looking for a Fen Edge based group, or collection of individuals, who could run a tea and coffee refreshment stall on the Green. It would be a brilliant way for your group to raise not only funds, but your profile.
