WOW – It’s the Wizard of Oz!

Wizard of Oz, the 1939 film starring Judy Garland, is regarded as one of the top 100 films of all time (Remember it? How it starts in black and white and turns dramatically to colour?). Suddenly the story has become popular in Cambridgeshire as a stage show as well.

Cottenham Theatre Workshop is first out of the box with a lively retelling of the well-known tale written and directed by Gary Unwin-Riches accompanied by lots of music and dance to put you in a good mood for the festivities ahead! There are good and bad witches and red shoes and a known assortment of characters without a brain, courage or heart – but it has a way of coming right in the end. . .
